Utilizing the Micron MI-1310 SOC CMOS image sensor, QM13MMYUV-FP03-72-24B is capable of SXGA-size (1280H x 1,024V pixels) color image input functions. This sensor module can perform a number of sophisticated processing functions, including color recovery, color correction, sharpening, programmable gramma correction, auto black reference (ABR) clamping, auto exposure (AE), automatic 50Hz/60Hz flicker avoidance, auto white balance (AWB), and on the fly defect identification and correction.
In default mode, it outputs an SXGA-size image at 15 frames per second (fps). Besides operating at default mode, the user can program for frame size, exposure, gain setting, and other parameters. An on-chip analog-to-digital converter (ADC) provides 10 bits per pixel. FRAME_VALID and LINE_VALID signals are output on dedicated pins, along with a pixel clock that is synchronous with valid data. A flash output signal is also available to synchronize external light sources with sensor exposure time.
